TIMES ARROW Myth and Metaphor in the Discovery of Geological Time Forcing Forsythia & Pussy Willow New directions in the physics of time... As one goes "forward" in time and while it may seem indisputable that time flows in a linear fashion (from past to future), there are a number of philosophical and physical objections to this notion. In the quest to make sense of this conundrum, philosophers and physicists confront fascinating and irresistible questions such as whether effects can precede causes, and whether one can travel in time.
In our attempt to defy physics, we will bring winter to a close by the forcing of forsythia and pussy willow branches in a barn at the country style home of TCGC Member Kathy Reamy, decorated in sophisticated old-fashioned country style. HOSTESS: Kathy Reamy and Karen Willard PLANT FOR CHANCE: Dorris Hensley
